Unlike any I’ve done in the past, this base started out with a very twisted large root rather than the whole root system including the trunk.
It accommodates a 48″ round glass or an even larger 54″ round.
With the larger glass I would recommend the table be placed on a hard floor (no carpet).
These trees grow on limestone rock & captured in this root system is a piece of that limestone (close up image).
