Artsfest in Stuart, Florida

Nikki & I participated in the Artsfest Arts & Crafts festival this past weekend.  It was held on the street & in beautiful Memorial Park in downtown Stuart and although the weather was perfect  the crowds, unfortunately, didn’t materialize.   We did sell a number of driftwood lamps & talked with some people who are in interested in some custom pieces in the future.DSC_0005

DSC_0012I did get the chance to meet some new artists who also create pieces with a coastal or driftwood theme. The first was John Townsend from nearby Sanford who specializes in bronze marine sculptures but what caught my eye was his glass foyer tables.

We’ve got our final art show of the season  in 2 weeks in Englewood & then I’ll be able to start concentrating on creating a lot of new tables & fulfilling the custom pieces that customers have commissioned me to make.
