Myrtle Beach driftwood dining table

Lately it appears the people who live in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina are finding me online and purchasing a piece of my work to place in their home. Such was the case with Carole, Ed & Rigby (their rescue Golden Retriever).  I’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries & orders for driftwood dining tables in recent months and that’s what they had in mind. They had their own glass (44 x 66 ) & wanted a base that was very full & “busy” with not a lot of space in between.  But instead of the sun bleached look they chose the reddish/brown sandblasted appearance. 20140121-154359.jpgIn their words they ” wanted a one of a kind piece because they felt that each room in their home needed a piece of furniture that anchors a room immediately drawing attention to it, as well as having a sense of comfort. They were also drawn to a unique “out of the ordinary ” type of decor and incorporating all types of different things into a room to make it flow and keep it interesting.”20140121-154302.jpg20140121-154343.jpgI had a nice stump in mind & it was just a matter of adding the support pieces for stability which gave it the full look look they sought. The bolts shown in the images are covered when finished.inventory 12- 119inventory 12- 148Since I did not have the required glass I tested the stability of the table inventory 12- 193with a large round glass in my showroom.
