Apollo Beach driftwood coffee table
I often ask my customers to send images of my work once it’s in their homes along with any comments as to their thought process in selecting a driftwood table. The home pictures always look more inviting than my studio images & their insight into the process helps fuel my creativity.
Jayna who lives in Apollo Beach, just south of Tampa, found me online & stopped by my store while in Orlando to check out my current pieces. To paraphrase her, they were in the process of redecorating their family room (in our native language that would be called a Florida room) & wanted something unique yet functional. They were looking to incorporate some elements of nature & the ocean & to soften the lines of their very contemporary furniture. They had a relatively small space & weren’t really thrilled with something mass produced as it seemed too impersonal & lacked the feeling of home. Recalling a driftwood coffee table Jayna had seen in a magazine she hopped on the web & found me just up the road.“We couldn’t be more thrilled with our coffee table and are looking forward to receiving the end table as well to complete our room.” I’ll start that end table for her next month for completion sometime this summer.
